Ava, Missouri is known as the ‘Treasure of the Ozarks’ for a reason.

Located just 50 miles from Branson, the entertainment capitol of the Midwest, and 50 miles from the lively city of Springfield, Ava is quiet enough to get away from it all – but close enough to be near everything you need.

Although only home to just over 3,000 people, Ava Missouri has a rich history dating back to 1871 – and before that, was home to an encampment of soldiers during the Civil War. The county comprises 13,000 people, and Ava is the only town, so the school system is of very high quality.

It’s also home to the Missouri Fox Trotter Association (the state horse!) and  part of Mark Twain National Forest – affording excellent riding, trekking, hiking, and floating opportunities all year round.

For sportsmen, the town of Ava, Missouri represents an incredible opportunity to fish and hunt in nature’s most pristine American environments. From turkey to deer and other small game, as well as prize fishing (including the world famous Bull Shoals Lake, not far away) the area is a rare opportunity to enjoy nature’s bounty in the solitude you’ve been seeking.
